Here at Brookfield Cattery we offer a friendly and caring cat boarding environment, ensuring that they will feel comfortable, happy and secure whilst with us.

Our cattery provides a quiet, warm and secure environment where your cat can relax while you are away.

Cat Boarding Services and Prices:

All prices are per day starting on the day your cat arrives.

Minimum charge of £30 inc VAT applies. All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day will all be charged at double the normal boarding rate.

About Our Cattery

Brookfield Cattery has two purpose-built cattery blocks with a total of 17 spacious double runs. All runs are constructed using secure, hygienic materials and comfortably meet the licensing standards required by Cornwall County Council.

Our cattery has been designed to provide a safe, calm and comfortable environment where your cat can relax during their stay. We aim to offer the highest standard of care in surroundings that are peaceful, clean and stimulating for every cat.

Payment

We currently accept payment by card, cash or bank transfer.

Payment is required on or before arrival.

As a small, family-run cattery in Camborne, our runs can fill up quickly, particularly during school holidays and peak travel periods.

Your cat’s stay includes:

• Comfortable beds and bedding
• Food and water bowls
• Clean litter trays
• Heating to keep your cat warm and comfortable

Food can be provided, however you are welcome to bring your cat’s own food if preferred. This is recommended for cats with sensitive digestion or special dietary requirements.

If your cat enjoys using a scratching post, you are also welcome to bring one along.

Please note that all toys and bedding are left at the owner’s risk.

Any veterinary costs incurred during your cat’s stay, however they arise, remain the responsibility of the pet owner.

Clean Bedding

We provide comfortable beds and clean bedding for every cat staying with us.

However, you are welcome to bring your cat’s favourite blanket or toy to help them feel more at home.

Please note that any bedding or toys brought from home are left at the owner’s risk.

Safety and Security

Your cat’s safety and wellbeing are extremely important to us.

For added peace of mind, our cattery is monitored by a 24-hour security camera system. We also live in the cottage overlooking the cattery, so we are always nearby to check on our guests and ensure everything is running smoothly.

Brookfield Cattery is fully inspected and licensed by Cornwall County Council, meeting all required standards for animal boarding establishments.

  • Come and Visit
    We welcome and would recommend that you visit us to see the cattery and meet the staff prior to your pets’ stay, where we can discuss our services and your pets’ individual needs in more detail. Please call to arrange an appropriate time.
  • Let Us Know Your Requirements
    We have a fully computerised booking and data storage system, so we have those important little details at hand. It helps us to prepare any special requirements in advance of an arrival, or merely just to recall which run was most suitable for your pet on its’ last visit.
  • Ensure Your Pet Is Vaccinated
    All pets must have up to date vaccinations and proof is required. Please remember to bring your to date vaccination documents for inspection upon arrival.

Brookfield Cattery is located in Barripper, just five minutes from Camborne, in a peaceful rural setting surrounded by farmland and green fields.

Our cattery sits at the end of a quiet country lane, well away from busy roads, helping to create a safe, calm and secure environment for every cat staying with us.

The countryside location provides a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, while still being easily accessible from Camborne, Redruth and surrounding areas of West Cornwall.

Opening Hours

Brookfield Cattery is open all year round, seven days a week.

We are open to the public between 8:00am – 12:00pm, and again from 3:00pm – 5:30pm.

Calls received after 6:00pm will be returned the following day.
